unmotivated..

Describe a situation that lasted for an extended period of time when you were fairly unmotivated. What factors seemed to lead to your being unmotivated??

there are a few things that have or had me unmotivated. one is high school i don't think i am going to graduate this year like i wanted. one thing that motivated me to try harder in school was the baby i was expecting..but then the sadness of the miscarriage i had made thigs go down again. my family keeps telling me to get up, move on. i was happy when the doctor told me i was pregnant. i was like all up in the sky and then all of a sudden i fall from the cloud i was on..

motivation

Recall a time when you were really motivated for awhile - weeks or months. Describe the situation. What helped you maintain that motivation? What roles did others around you play?

a year after dropping out of school my family was the one who motivated me to go back to school.
and well me yeah if i would want a job i would need to get high school diploma. most jobs now are asking for it. so my parents and my home school helped me look for a school that would help me get credits fast. so went to scavo for half a semester last year and i also took a class at north and did night school there. then this year i just went to scavo and central until now that we found out about fp.

Overcoming Fear!

Overcoming Fear! Recall a time when you were afraid and overcame it. Describe the situation and your fear(s). How did you overcome your fear? What techniques did you use? How did you feel after it was over? What did you learn about yourself?

a big fear i had when i smaller was in Mexico with a story known as la llorona most call her bloody marry my grandma used to tell me this story, about this beautiful girl who married a handsome and rich man which with him she had i think 3 or 4 kids. this man worked out of town a lot which he didn't see his wife much. so one day she finds out her husband is cheating on her. she takes her kids out to the river drowns them to death, and now every rainy day or night some people say they hear a woman cry out where are my children... and every time i used to go to Mexico and hear the rain i would get scared i never got to hear her.. who knows if its true there are many versions of this story.. i guess they're just legends.....

learning fun?

Learning Fun? Write about your best learning experience (it didn't have to occur in school!) What made it so enjoyable? How does that learning impact your today?

my best learning experience was when i learned how to write in spanish. i have known how to talk spanish for all my life but not how to write in spanish. so txting made it more simple for me. when i was in mexico no one knew english so when i wanted to txt someone i had to txt it in spanish so my cousin helped out too. i was always asking her how to spell this and that and as i was seeing the words next time i wanted to txt i already knew alittle...
